Both are basically Junk ,,though Mastershifter is better than the Indy

The Syncro Loc and Comp Plus are the good solid ones

Yes ,Shifters were avail. in 9" 12" and 15 " ,,and there were 'truck " specific kits too,,,Handles Hurst kit CV55-T was for 55 - 66 Trucks,, CV-66 for 66 and later

As well as the CM series Kits

Is ebay the best place to look for those? Sorry to ask so many questions. I obviously don't know much about them other than every body else had one in high school and my cars were autos. I had a friend with a 66 Chevelle that had the one that I was in awe of. I also had a friend who built up a Volkswagen and I remember the difference in shifting his when he put a HUrst in.

The Mastershift was the replacement for the Syncro Loc, and is a much better shifter than the Indy. Even a Mystery Shifter is better than an Indy.
