Can anyone help please? I need to know the PCD of a 6 lug chevy truck wheel (1941 type) asap and I can't get to my shop to measure one. Thanks in advance. Mark.
the early chevy truck is the same as 70's toyota fj40 jeep type cars. this might help getting the bold pattern nailed down
This may not be gospel but I think it is 6 on a 5" circle on all the old Chevy 6-luggers. OK, 5 1/2" circle as below. Thanks.
It is 6 lugs on a 5 1/2" bolt circle................guarantee it! If you want to know the center hole diameter, sorry, I don't know and don't have one to measure......
I knew I could count on you guys! Thanks, you've saved me some real time and effort! Hppy new year, Mark.
PCD stands for Pitch Circle Diameter, pretty much the same as your bolt circle but the P (pitch) is the dimension between the stud (lug) centres normally measured from one stud (lug) to the nearest adjacent Stud (lug) and not the one next to it. Hope that makes sense. Paul.
