Tons of stuff to do around Houston, Austin and San Antonio. If your down around the time for Day of the Drags - it's a must. The best cars and racing around. http://dayofthedrags.com/

May want to watch the HAMB Calendar too.

Thanks Alex seems theres no shortage of ex pats in the area. I went to last years wheels day Surrey Street Rodders (It snowed :( lol ).
It's a long way off yet but we are really starting to look forward to the trip all being well, the work situations a little dodgy what with the econemy the way it is at the mo though so fingers crossed my job holds out OK for the year.

Hi' all, if anyone has any deffinate dates for any hot rod stuff happening between the 15th & the 29th October 2010 around the Houston area I would sure like to know.
I have emailed the web site for THE DAY OF THE DRAGS to try and get the dates but got no reply, I like nostalgia racing and 60's style hot rods myself especially Willys & Anglia g***er's. Gotta get something sorted cuz the wife is giving me an ear bashing about booking the flight's  !
    Thank's again in advance,
    DAVE.

You may want to send Eli Guzman a note and find out when the Highway Horrors Halloween Party is. THAT is an event you wouldn't want to miss. Everyone would expect you to dress up like a Red Coat though. :D

Search the HAMB for pics of lastr years party. I can't remember when it was exactly but you're hitting the right time frame. Great way to meet a LOT of Hambers from this area.
