Add on a side car. I know its not "traditional" but Walker was tired of describing how much fun his Alpha was in traffic, so being an artist and generally not giving a **** about correctness he added on the sidehack. He loves to park it in the Ferrari and Alpha meets in Seattle and piss off the purist ********ters. Incidently this is the same guy who created the big yellow Diamond T boatail roadster. Yea I know the pics are lousy but they are from his website www.closeenoughengineering.com s.
Yeah - you're right there. Oh, still looking for an English drop frame front axle by the way?! Gotta put one on eBay for a friend. C'mon Clark - time to start messing with a real four banger. There's a '27 block here with your name on it...
I was just looking at the girdles from Dan McEachern yesterday for putting an 'A' crank in a 'T' block!

Beautiful! That's the kind of car I think of when I hear the word "modified!" I fondly remember the early 70s spending Friday nights with my Dad at Big Diamond Raceway in Minersville, PA.
Here's a couple of pics of my modified. Mostly junk parts collected & put on the street. It started life as a '29 tudor cut into a pick-up during WW11 by a farmer. I was tring to be traditional but the funds were short. I have a BLAST driving the car, its a lot of fun.
Haven't been to very many Penn State tracks. I was always racing myself. I have been to Grandview several times within the past 10 or so years. Went to that asphalt track in western PA when I was doin' the ASA Series. Can't remember the name right now. It's close to where the plane crashed on 911. Oh yeah, I did go to Langhorne in '71 or '72. I think it was the last modified race there.
