Got the body off, got rid of most of the brake lines, and emergency brake cables, removed gas tank, Someone had welded the ****** cross member in so the only way to get the ****** out was to pull the motor. Got most of my measurements I needed to get the sub frame welded on. All the interior out of the car. Gonna soda blast the body sunday I guess. Quiet of bit more **** than what I'm used to.

I'd say you did. Why are you sandblasting it? Are you just repainting or is there work to be done?

Just want to soda blast the paintand bondo off the body of the car, and interior of the car, the car was painted about 10 years ago, ****ty at best, rocker panels have some rust, I just want to look at the body fix what needs fixing, start fresh and do it right. I figure at this point I would just do a complete re build of the car, frame up I guess. May take some time, but I feel like i owe it to my father in law ( who left me the car ) to do it how he wanted to if he was still alive.

After a year or so of not having time to work on the car, moving shops, having kids and several excuses, I finally got the subframe installed. Still got some finish welding to do....felt pretty good for being my first one. Got the table level, frame level, built a little jig or sort. Cut the old off, put the new on, welded her up.....bingo, next comes the x memeber.
