Right on! You got your headers sorted quick and easy, it seems. My 61Falcon has a small block dodge popped back through the firewall 6 inches so i'm gonna have to have someone make a set of fenderwell headers from scratch (not my specialty).

Early '63, right? How are you on radiator/fan room? The guys on the fordmuscle board swear by Maradyne fans for being the slimmest. Check the tech write ups about the comparison.

Is that the stock steering box? cross steer still (I dont know if the plymouth axle is side or cross steer)

I like that you took the plunge on moving the wheel openings forward.

got the radiator in last week.everything came out of a 69 galaxy.built some saddles for the rad to sit in. went with a flex fan with an 1.75" spacer.no room for clutch fan.used fan shroud and even the radiator hoses worked with a little t*******. the axle is cross steer now after i built a steering arm to mount up high on the p*** spindal.had to modify the pitman arm,but the drag link is level! i'll post more pics later.the wheel openings were a breeze.lot's of extra tire room in there.

headers were on a 66 ford pu. took the left side cut most the pipe away fliped them over and ran the tubes to the collector.other side took some imagination though.had to cut the flanges swap pipes and some weld on bends around the sector and presto headers! extended the collectors and added 2.5" pipe stubs for my exhaust to run through.gonna cap off the collector flange with a cap and br*** wingnuts.

  6. Looks like it's going to be a cool car! Interesting steering arm setup.

yea cheap is my middle name.bought that 66 had a 390 and c-6 with the headers.pulled all that out and sold the body for $100 more than i had in it.almost the same with galaxy my motor came out of.filled it full of s**** iron and hauled it off and made $75 on that deal.a freind gave me the sanderson collectors.i even did some work on a guys truck and he gave me this body with a new windsheild. think i'm into this ride for about $300 like it sets. damn i'm cheap!

lol cool... its thrifty, not cheap (as my wife says,lol)...

no one in my neck of the woods has 390 headers cheap (errr.. thrifty) or free,lol... so the floor/firewall waits)..
