I have a set with sort of square holes in the spokes. Made from the same casting pattern.

Mine are Forthsite Ventures (sp?) Drag Mags.

I think the pattern was used by multiple companies.

I don't have any history for you but those things were all over Indy in the late sixties. Go figure! They refered to them as Indy 10 spokes around here. Several guys ran them at our high school. A green 57 Chevy, a red 62 Impala, dark blue 65 Mustang, a 62 Fairlane, and a 63 Chevy II ran them that I can think of off hand. I remmember seeing them on Road Runners, GTOs, Baracudas, and Chevelles at the local hangouts. Never had a set myself , I was a chrome reverse guy, but I liked them. There was always this nasty rumor that they tended to crack spokes but I've never seen that. The last and best set I saw was on a racecar trailer at the local figure 8 track a few years back. I think the wheels were worth more than the trailer, 'er and maybe the "racecar" on it too. lol
