Projects any help finding a 59 ranchero gas tank?

any help?

i seem to be having a hard time finding a gas tank for my 59 ranchero & mine is beyond repair... anyone know where i can find one without a 800 price tag?

i tried bob drake {the only place i knew of that had them} and they are out of stock until the end of feb... i would like to get my car back on the road before then....

i think i have seen them at dennis carpenter for around $450

I got mine from Bob Drake a few year ago. It is really high quality.

Dearborn Cl***ics used to sell them too. But, I don't see them on thier web site anymore.

i think a buddy of mine has one in his yard, I know he has a ranchero round that year plus a few older fords, i already texted him to see if something he has will work for you

There is an old junk yard right south of Seguine, TX that has all kings of Ford stuff. I know he has a 59 ranchero because I got the gas tank sending unit out of it. I don't remember right off the name, but will get it and send it to you.
