Bottom line: If you know where this car is, or some way I may be able to locate it please let me know, so I can ATTEMPT to buy it back....again(for the 3rd time)

Last known license number: (709 BAS) CA Blue plate
Last known color: wet sanded grey primer starting to surface rust (originally Aztec Gold)
    Last known location: Sacramento Area
Last known condition: BARE Roller Body (I completely stripped it for paint my senior year)

a little background: I bought this car when I was 15 in late 1995. It was rough to say the least, I spent the next year+ rebuilding the engine/trans, brakes, and some interior with my dad getting it ready for me to turn 16. I drove it the remainder of my Junior year, that summer and tore it totally down and put it in the paint shop my entire Senior year in HS. The painter ended up never painting it so I took it home after it sat in his shop for over a year with little progress (this was 1998/99). I got a great job & became a father in 2000 and just didnt have the time to work on it, and unfortunately sold it for dirt cheap after looking at it for awhile (around 2001/02). I was cruising craigslist a year or so later and found it 2 owners later now, but in the same condition. I decided NOT to buy it back, ANOTHER year later I found it yet again on craigslist with another owner still in the exact condition I have sold it a few years before, only this time I DID buy it... for $500 I think, although I had problems locating a trailer to borrow, and couldnt find time to go get it til eventually I lost the guys number and just wrote it off as a loss. Just curious if anyone knows where this thing is at so I can try to buy it back as long as it hasnt been restored. thanks for reading

thanks, I figured a hot rodder is a hot rodder regardless of a '70 chevelle...'55 Gasser...or Model A... and the more that know about my search, the better my chances.

    have a great day! :D

You might try running a Craigslist 'Wanted' ad in your area...

I'm still searching for my '68 LeMans. She saw a ton of action. Sold it for $500.....then got a call from the tow yard. Turns out the guy that I sold it to used it in an armed robbery here in town. Luckily I had sent the Release Of Liability to the DMV. I had the opportunity to get it out of the yard for what I sold it for. I passed, as I spent the money on another car. Damn....I miss her.

    Good Luck!

no i wouldnt... the first time I sold it I just had my first kid, and had just bought a house and wasnt in the position to do anything with it. Now, I'm older with more time and money and an almost 10 year old that LOVES cars... its more sentimental now

the guy I bought it back from years later, I wouldnt have the slightest clue how to get ahold of.
