 I am building a model T and want to paint it flat black. However i dont want to spend a lot on PPG HOK or the likes. My questions is what has everyone used with the best results for the buck. has anyone used Van Sikle or rustoleum? Thanks for any input or pics.

I used flat black spray bomb on my daily driver ram (pic in avatar). Holds up descent, scratches easy. And it only cost me 5 cans to do the whole truck. I know a lot of people who use PPG DP black sealer, but it fades to a gray over time

Just pick a black have them mix it in Omni and add 25% flattener to it.

Oh boy, drama, I'll get the pop corn, and while I'm gone, someone tell him to use search, and some one mention red wheels. Be right back.....

Hotrod black model T to your left lol. Don't look too bad to me...2002? I changed color ideas about 6 times while building it and ended up with this because it just fit. Other ideas were Stone,Woods and Cook inspired blue metalflake , metalic bronze, candy red, aztec gold etc. None of that would have worked as well as flat black for this ride.
