Welcome, Shawn. You'll find plenty of Falcon guys, and quite a few Comet folks on here (we tend to stick together). You might also try www.tffn.net for a message board dedicated to the platform. What are your plans, aside from the engine/trans swap? Got pics? -Dave
Welcome fellow Comet owner. Theres lots of cool stuff on this thread and lots of good info on Comet Central.

@shawncomet: hi from switzerland. having a '64 comet and trying to bring it back on the road, I know what you are talking about. Il Gatto
i had a 62 4dr with a 144. traded for a pickup a year or so ago, and now i am looking for another. they make such great daily drivers. welcome to the hamb. where abouts in MA are you?
I'm way out west in Colorado and I'm in a Ford club; the VP in our club goes by "Comet Carlos". I think he must have about 16 Comets between early 60's "cateye Comets through the Cyclones and into the "Maverick/Comets of the 70's. Now for me, I've always really liked the '66 Cyclone GT ever since my older brother bought one new. There are still a few early Comets in local boneyards in eastern Colorado but they are usually well picked over. Have fun! Enjoy the Comet.
thanks for all the welcomes. i wonder if "comet carlos" would be able to supply some missing chrome pieces? thanks again
shawncomet, I'll see"Comet Carlos" in about ten days; I'll try to get an e-mail address from him. If he doesn't have trim available, he may still be able to put you onto a good source. I'll also persuade him to visit here at HAMB. Slim
Welcome from Mi. Plenty of knowledgeable Comet guys here w/some good threads going.Your in good hands!
