AWESOME JOB CZARS. I sure hope you can somehow, someway continue with the pile up. I do not know if this will count for anything, but I vote to keep it in Morris. I just love the area and the town. It makes it nice to come a day early and leave the day after, end enjoy the ENTIRE time!! Thanks once again to all involved. CHEERS.

A few Questions about the Heads Up. Is there a host hotel? Is there a party on Friday like at the Hamb Drags? Will there be a pre-entry? Is there a car limit?

Hey guys I can honestly say that the Hunnert was well worth the drizzle, cold, fighting the traffic both in & out...and as much as it sucked I can say it was worth blowing up the motor in my newest baby just to be there. It will be a crime if the Hunnert dies!! there are too many good people & deserving charities that deserve the money. As for the assholes that were spitting, cussing & making the show dreary-kick their asses out. I am already planning for the show this year, and the new motor is ready to paint & drop, and I will be forever scared if the Hunnert goes the way of the dodo.

I don't want to derail this post, so I'll keep this brief. We're still working out some of these details. Cars will be limited to 1964 and earlier, just like the Plieup, but the other Pileup criteria won't be applied so strictly. We're not planning on pre-entry/registration because it's too difficult to manage. No host hotel, but we can provide a list of ones close-by and maybe all the HAMBers can all crash one. :D We're working on getting bands for a party AT the track on Saturday night. We hadn't really talked about a Friday night party somewhere. We're trying to keep things simple this year, but if everything goes well, we'll expand and improve it for next year. The Heads-Up is on a learning curve like the Pileup was in the beginning. We're partnering with Great Lakes and the show is separate entity from the Pileup, so we can't just throw Pileup money at it that's been dedicated for the Pileup. We should have some posts coming up soon with a lot of details.

I think it is very cool what you guys do!!:) The best part about it is that you donate so much money to great charities. A lot of local car clubs have broke up in the past because of money issues, but I think if they all tried to be like you they would do great and continue to grow. And by the way Hunnert Pile Up was my favorite show that I went to last year.

Thanks everyone! It truly is a labor of love, and like we keep saying, without y'all's support and particularly the Red Shirt Army, it just would not be possible.

And Dallas, I don't know what to say...Wow. Thank you.

I think I need to hit the gym. My New Year's resolution is to stay sexy for Mr Atlas, aka CheaterCarl. Beefcake! :D

Love to see money going to the Veterns charitys. As already said you guys rule and hope to everyone at the NEXT pile-up

  9. Whatever the fate of the Pileup, we'll continue to support it regardless. It would be a sadly missed show and one of only a handful of shows that are "MUST" attend each year.

Dallas hit the spot with his post. The Czars reach a level that most aspire to. Taking a few cars in a garage to a world class, world recognized event is amazing. I am glad I was able to attend, help, and enjoy the Hunnert. IF it is happening again, I will be rockin my Red Shirt and hopefully one '61 Comet. If not, thanks for the memories, we will see ya at some shows I am sure.

Keep it up! You set the standard for every club member, Lone Wolf, Hot Rodder, and anyone in between in my opinion.

As a disabled Veteran, I thank you for all of us for your donation. Too often the American veteran is forgotten. Remember, this is the land of the free because of the brave.

What a GREAT SHOW the pileup RULES. I know what your club raised this year was not as much as you would have liked to but what your club did raise will be put to GREAT use. Thanks from a fellow red shirt and hot rodder.

Thanks for all the kind words guys, a HUGE thanks to the Red Shirt Army for providing the strong foundation, elbow grease and sweat that makes the show happen.

Where else in the world can you pull off such a huge event and have it staffed entirely by volunteers? the midwest ... U.S.A. .. that's what makes the pileup special.

The Red Shirt Army of selfless givers.. and rulers are the ones that make the donations possible. And all of the people that attend... without the love of Traditional Rods.. the pileup would be just another car show.

Seriously, buy them a beer next time you see a red shirt.

Big Up's to my brothers, the Chrome Czars for dealing with the stress and hard work planning the event throughout the whole year. You know its a big deal to us, we talk about it every time we see each other. You all did a great job, and didn't collapse under the weight of the masses. Big Ups to D.W. she once again became the glue that held the pileup together :) We lean on her hard.. and she keeps coming back for more :)

We hope that the pileup's contributions over the years have done some good, in a world full of bad. With just over $50,000 given away in contributions... i like to think that someone out there got help when they needed it most.

    Thanks guys.
