Just came across a Lattin 4x2 intake for a flathead ford. I was curious if anyone had any info on these things? What are the worth? Has anyone ever run one on the street? Thanks for any info kevin
Hey walrus: Ever see any of his 21 stud dual plug heads?. A friend of mine has a set of them for sale.Really look great.
Hello, I had two of them..Put Stromberg 81s on them and sold..Info is they are hard to dial in for the street.. The two that I had where IRs, independent runners..Only half the carb is used per cylinder.. Duane..
------------------------- With an 'isolated runner' set-up and only one Stromberg 81 venturi per cylinder, it would seem to be grossly ndercarbureted. It would probably have great off-idle throttle response and lots of very low speed torque though. Mart3406 ============================
The Lattin intake is a nice piece.... IMO youd need a decent stroked /ported/geared flatty to make it a decent runner on the street.....a light car will help. OTOH, you have a nice intake with a straight shot at the valve and they look killer.... I like em !! Rat
I want it.......but can not afford it ...............want to trade some art work for it........lol......
they are repoping them alot more then 10, You can also get the same style intake from lakeheaders.com
