31 model a cowl trim

can someone tell me if there is some form of clips that hold the s/s cowl trim in place on a 31 rpu apart from the bottom two bolts thanks carl...

Aside from the "bumps" along the cowl, that is all.

 

im building a brookville body so no humps thanks guys...

 

I was paging thru Mac's catalog yesterday and found clips listed for the cowl band. Mine's not installed yet, so I can't vouch for them. macsautoparts.com Part# A16738CL

 

Doesn't the hood hinge bracket have a lip that comes up over the top of the band? I think this holds it snug at the top.

Brattons makes a set of clips that mount about where the tank meets the cowl. My dad has a brookville body and had problems with the band coming off. These clips did the job no more problems
