Hand Molded Shifter Glove?

    A while back, I worked with a guy who told me about these shift knobs that are like gloves and are custom molded to your hand. I cant seem to find anything on them. Anyone know what I am talking about or was he messing with me?

    I have done it in the past by using clay to mold a grip you want then sand cast that into alum.

    There was a company making them back in the day.. It was t-handle style but the handle was tapered and fit your hand perfectly.

    My dad made a couple of copies of this handle out of magnesium in the 80's.

    I will dig them out over the weekend if nobody comes up with pics first.
