where's he sellin it? ebay, trade sites...? and what kinda condition ya talkin?

  3. Pick up a Hemmings and peruse the prices in there.

55-56 Birds have some of the most expensive parts around.
17 years ago, NOS bumper guards were $800. for four.

I stumbled onto a set of used ones at the same time that had fair chrome and got $200. for them.

    Do some research....

condition is good. i've already tried a few hemmings with no luck. same for ebay. what i'm running into when i try the usual places is the rarity of these parts, there's just not enough of them on the market to compare to. (at least as far as i've been able to find) that's why i thought i'd fish around here. i figured with this big a pool of car nuts i'd find some t-bird guys to point me in the right direction. i just need to get in the ballpark here, i'd hate to list something for $200 when it may be worth $2000 and vice versa.

I called my Pop on this one 'cause he sold his Bird recently. He said $1000 was a good deal $2500 was high a couple years ago. These prices are dependant on the fact that they have not started reproducing them? Don't know about the hood. -J
