I am looking for wide generic stamped steel 15" wheels. Any ideas where to find them? I wanna run at least a 10" -12" wide wheel in the rear. I just want a generic stamped steel wheel nothing fancy. I'm gonna paint the wheels black with a set of Moon Spun Aluminum Discs. (I've got a set of screw on discs and a set of pop ons as well). The wheels are for my 51 Ford F-1. Any ideas where to look?? Also the offset is gonna be a lil wierd as well.....I have moved the springs to the inside of the fram to allow for the wider wheel. Hopefully you guys can point me in the right direction...Thanks again

all you got to do is check out the many dirt track wheels, almost any backspace and as wide as you need, they will be covered anyhow

Careful, many models of those wheels do not bear a DOT stamp. It might be a rare thing to have one checked, but I just had a young, hot-shot CHP check for the DOT stamp on the wheels on my OT DD.

    Your mileage may vary.

Speedway Motors in Lincoln, NE sells 15" wheel shells in 8, 10, 12, & 14 inch widths in which you install the center of your choice at the offset of your choice. The shells have a 12 5/8" ID. These shells are not lightweight like many of the racing wheels and are suitable for street use. In your state, you'll have to find a way around the D.O.T. certification, but then again most of us have a hotrodder's mindset.
    You'll find these shells in Speedway's race catalog. $52.95 for the 15 X 12.

Got a great deal on some 15X10's at Summit Racing. On sale - 2 for $132, and shipping was only $12. Can't beat that.
