No havent found it yet. Still trying to get in touch with some one from the pearson family. Progress slowed down a bit, maybe soon i can atleast see the car and rub her quarters down (if there is any left). And take a trip down memory lane.

How about this for a new year's gift. Got a call from my buddy on the Cullman PD tonight and he's found it! Still in the West Point/Vinemont area. Check your PM for the owner's name and phone number.

Well, I haven't heard from outlawsteel so I have to gues he hasn't been on here to see this yet. All I can tell you is that my buddy on the police force there said the car was still within 10 miles of the guy that outlaw's Dad sold it to and that he'd tracked it through five or six other owners to get to the current owner. He also said that the guy's wife told him the car was currently not together, but I don't know if that meant no motor in it, or completely stripped down to the frame.

Like you guys, I'm excited to hear how this pans out. Outlawsteel, you out there?

well guys i just realized I never updated yall on the 55. We did find her and she is in great shape. Although the gl*** front end has been changed out for steel fenders, four speed swaped for auto. She is more of a street rod than a street fighter now. she has full interior and stereo in her. Rolls on polished torq thrusts. The tunnel rammed 327 is long gone to the gods of speed. In her now is a run of the mill 350, but it looks and runs good. The guy who has her wont get rid of her,Im workin on him though. Hopefully someday soon she will back to her rightful owner and back to her glory days as a ride to beat. The look on his face when he verified it was his 55 was all worth it though. Some people dont understand if that car meant so much to him then Why did he sell it. Well if you love something so much that it breaks your heart to see it sitting outside under a car cover and not in a garage or shop out of the weather. See when we moved to AL we he didnt have a place to keep her out of the weather so he sold her. The plan was to sell her to Rick and after he built a shop Rick was supposed to sell her back. Well that didnt happen. Then thanks to the power of the hamb we found her. Thanks to all the guys who helped on this one.
