Tri 5 Chevy rear window question

What rear gl*** was interchangable between models. I need the gl*** for a '56 2 door post, would this be the same as the gl*** out of a '55 2 door post? Or a '55 Pontiac 2 door sedan? Or a '56 Chevy 4 door sedan? I know the 4 door hardtops have a different roof and rear gl***, and the sedans interchangable? any help would be appreciated.

 

Any '55/'56/'57 post is the same back light...don't know about other GM's tho, but I'd ***ume they'd be the same...I have three good ones if you need one...shipping mite be tuff tho...

All sedan models are the same, two door or four. Pontiacs are the same too.

Roger, I have a 49 cad sedanette, you have a 49 cad sedanette. I also have a 56 chev 2dr post. Do you also have one of those? What else do you have that you are not talking about? I also have one of those 55 pont 2dr post's. The rear windows look alike. Some day I'll show you my bone yard.

Ya know T-, I'm still waiting for pics of that '49 you promised me...

Now to answer your questions...first of all I have a '48 Sedanet...not a '49...same body style tho...also I have a '57 Bel Air hardtop...chopped and very radical...I'll show you mine if you show me yours!! As for other cars, yeah, I got a couple...but I need to see pix of the Caddy of yours first!
