FNG: Hello to all from Downey Cal.

I've been watching and reading about all this great talent here on the H.A.M.B., what a great place to learn! I've been around HotRods, Sikkles, B-ville cars for years, but this is all new to me, I'm very impressed with all the knowledge here. I was born & raised in Bell Ca home of Bell Auto Parts, worked 40 years painting Billboards, now retired and building a 40 Ford Pickup, it's going to have a 50's look to it, sit'n low, chopped 2", 41 Stude taillights, injected 283, 700R trans, Mustang susp up front, 9" in the rear, disc brakes all four corners, lots of louvers, engine turning and speed holes, steelies w/ small SS caps, OH YA, and some original Jot Horne Speed Equipment side boards for the bed, so far this has been a 19 year project!

Thanks Royal for the welcome. Yes the billboard biz is in the ****er! it's all computer now, no mo handpainted artwork, I'm glad to be away from it! Downey has changed a lot also, bought 6 ac up above you, wanted to build in Ahwahnee but that's not going to happen now, so it's for sale now. Bye for now..... cw.
