I'm puting a 32 roadster ch***is back together. It was rodded in the 50's and I'm missing a brake lever component. Here's a shot of the brake ***embly: The component I'm missing is a pivot that would mount on the frame that provides stability for the clutch pedal linkage - that goes to the 39 ******. What am I looking for? Anyone got a picture of one - or for that matter.. one you can sell me? - I can t find " it" in macs or other catalogs. thanks much...
Doesn't look like a 32, looks like a model a frame and the pedals look like F1 truck? Not sure but it looks like you need a brake pushrod.? FLIP
I may have that piece, I know I did have an extra pivot with 2 mounting ears. It is not 32 Ford but later. I had this bunch of stuff also but am unsure what is still in the box after the swap meets last year.
looks like the same ******/ brake/ clutch. what does the left side of the clutch linkage mount into? the right side hooks into the ******... but the left side?
Lono, that's a later clutch ***y in that 32 frame. You just need the equalizer ball. Mac's has them cheep! 32 clutch linkage doesn't have an equalizer bar, it has a LONG arm on the bellhousing that is tied directly to the pedal.
You need this, or one of these three. It mounts to the frame rail. I took this from MACS online: don't know what happened look at next post

If he wants to use that lever arm he will have to change the clutch cross shaft. The shaft that is in there now is the equalizer type that needs a frame mount.
Hey Lono,..... how about a few more detail shots of this ch***is all the way around,... this thing looks really interesting ! ,..... Looks like some serious innovation going on there,... Also can you post any of the history you know about it ?
I just moved in. Been building it since August last year. One more coat of stucco, the cement work and gas island and i can install the gas pump in the island. Frame pix.. here's another: The original car was built in 1958 in Vancouver, B.C. and owned by a fellow named Norm Abramson. Everything in the picture came from his car ( in the background you can see a 46 flathead, that was from his car but its been replaced with a 54 ( yes a 54 flathead from a Crestline manufacted in Canada). One of the cool historical components is the front axle formed by blackie Green of Vancouver. rather than rechrome, everything is getting a good cleaning and remaining in its present condition. The body of the 32 roadster remains in the hands of the person I bought the rolling frame from. I'm now building a 31 Roadster to put back on the frame. My final goal is going to be something like this: With enough motivation and focus, i hope to have it on the road by May 22nd, this year.
