Thinking about doing radiused wheelwells on a 55 Chevy 4 dr. Maybe stuff wheelwell with either a set of daisies or cragars or. Torque thrust?

Just my .02 but I dig the torque thrusts or halibrands. Radiused wheelwells look great on a 55 only if its drag inpired. Just my opinion, overall I think its cool. I think cragars look a little to 70s, but go with what you like.

My thoughts seem as you asked .I thinks that type of wheelwell treatment
was done for tire clearance issues on G***ers .To me a 4 door may not be the right cantidate for a g***er but you are the guy doing the work .I would definately decide
what style car you are building before you do any serious cutting of any kind .Good
planning first can save a lot of headaches later.Good Luck

there is no room to radius a fifty five chevy 4 door unless you cut the door..then that will be ugly!!

What hotrod-Linkin said... That would look really bad cutting into the door to radius the wheel wells, no matter what kind of wheels you use.

Really, I think cutting into the door a little could look ok.

  8. I concur... that probably won't look too good... but, then again, it's your car... so what does it matter what anyone else thinks?.. give 'er...

For what it's worth... I dig the look of torque thrusts...

    Good Luck!

I think you have been drinking the water from the Cimarron River!!!!

You shouldn't even swin in it, nor should you think cuttin them rear doors could look ok.

I would do the 4 dr. to 2 dr. conversion before cutting the wheelwells.

I would love to do the 4 to 2 conversion but its a little beyond my skill level and there is no way I can afford to pay someone to do it"
