We have been having trouble finding extra tall, two piece valve covers for Mopar 340? Does anyone have such a product?

    Thanks,

You mean the kind the tops come off them? I have a set on a SBC in a dragster .Not sure I have seen them for mopars..I think the ones I got are M/T.

I've never seen them either. Ma Mopar makes some nifty oversized cast ones with the reversed flange (points inward) but they only fit W heads, otherwise i'd put them on my 415.

Why are you looking for two piece covers? I'm sure someone can fab some if it's absolutely needed. Hell, you could chuck some cast ones in a mill to take the top off, then bolt on a top plate.

I asume rocker clearance is the issue ,if so hamberger sold spacers at one time but havent seen them for a while .Try mancini ask for tony ,or stack cork gaskets but to make that work they need to be glued over night before installing and also use studs not bolts .c

rocker clearance, and the need to adjust solid lifters surprisingly often. Finding one that is tall enough is not hard but finding one that is tall and two piece is harder. Edelbrock makes one that is tall enough but it looks two piece (but it is fake two piece).

  6. I've never seen a 2 piece one for any mopar. There's several tall options but I think you're going to be unsuccessful on the 2 piece part.

strangely, I don't get very much spam at all. Probably because at a lot of the callsign databases my email address is out of date.

We are not adjusting those valves running (although as a side note, every manual that I have for my mopar inline 6 says to do it running - not possible if you have headers - ha ha).
