Hot Rods - 1930 Durant Sedan ~ Maiden Voyage -

After many long days and nights My '30 is finally on the road. Time to work out the kinks, tune drivetrain, take her apart, finish up all the loose ends, and reassemble!!

Front end is a little long but I dig it, first rides are unforgetable.

I'd like to thank Dave for the thick thick enamel he painted it with. It really preserved the steel. I do wish he would have left the driver side latch assembly in the door. It's really hard to find... havent found one yet. I took it all apart again, and am reassembling in a few weeks. I needed to tear it down for frame inspection before the frame was painted etc. Now the frame is painted. I'll post pictures when it's back together in a few weeks.

With the rake I was able to build a bench seat for the rear. It seats 5.

 

Car looks great but am I doing somethin wrong or does it take everybody this long to view these things? 10 seconds of pix then 30 seconds to load another 10 seconds of action. Is this the way its supposed to be?

 

It shouldn't lag.. It should stream smoothly. It could be your internet connection.

 

will a latch from something else work? seats 5!!!! now that is a family car...
