My name is Roger O'Dell been here for a while. School years were spent in the Artesia, Bellflower Ca. area Graduated from Artesia High cl*** 1965. Joined the Army went to Viet Nam spent two tours with helicopters. my units were 1st av, 1st cav, macv, 25 inf, then to germany with the 4th arm. for the last 4 months maybe 5 to long ago. Came back to Bellflower, cruised, got married, worked. Got back into cars & drag raceing mid 80's. First old car in the new era was a 48 cad sedanette, chopped it did several body mods put a big block chevy in it from my top gas dragster, was confused, couldn't make up my mind whether I was a low rider or drag racer. By the way my Dragster was awarded run of the year 1992 by national dragster. My team "A" fuel crew chief Gene Adams, Driver Don Enriquez, and for the world finals Junkyard ED. for the last twenty years or so been building cars at home, just about everything except paint and uphol.
