The skirts are going back on, and we agreed to hold off on the conit kit until after Detriot and then decide if it needs it or not.

    Looks fantastic, nice scallop layout!
Joe's right, the body DID come out straight.
(I see "my" door came out pretty good!)

Damn awesome work, I think you sold me on pursuing a 57 2 door instead of putting more money into my 4-door.

Your door came out "OK." ;)

There's a few small waves in it, but overall its nice and straight. Joe can see his reflection so he's happy!

That's going to look really good polished and out in the sunshine. Bet it feels good after all of the prep work.

Hey guys, thanks for the compliments. The color is definitely NOT what I had planned, but now that I see it on there, I'm all about it. This was supposed to be basically just a nicer version of the previous color with white scallops... it turned out way better.

I think Russ put it best, " Now the car says, 'I'm cl***y, but I'm still here to party and get *****es.'" That works perfectly for me.

Are you gonna wear a tuxedo t-shirt when you're driving it?

Maybe! Billy said he was gonna get some Moonlite Kustoms t-shirts made for Detroit.

Don't give up on that 57 4 door you got man! Looks like a pretty clean ride. Sean on the HAMB has a killer 4 door 57, lots of inspiration there.

Ya but there are two 57 2 doors for sale here that would make one good 2 door. This thread has got me wanting to pick them up more.

Joe's is a tuxedo t-shirt to show off his newly acquired "cl***."

There's a few more on my site, www.moonlitekustoms.com. I'm hoping to roll it out in the sun sometime this week and take some real nice shots of it.

More progress over the recent week. I got the dash and skirts painted and scalloped, and we also came up with a color for the outline. Anthony White was down to do some other work for me and couldn't resist laying some lines on the car just to see how it would look. It was unanimous between the 3 of us. I plan on starting to color sand and buff this wknd so Joe can start puttin it back together. Were definitely gonna be cuttin it close!
