California "Bitchin TO DO" stuff, thoughts????

I'm planning on going to California for the first time in March or April. I'm looking for suggestions/recommendations on bitchin things to do. To see!!!!

Car stuff, art, skateboarding, interesting attractions.

Thoughts?

Cali is a really big place.

What area and we can narrow it down for you.

 

you coming to So Cal? its open season in March/April. tons of things to do...
first of, you gota get a rental car and tell us where you staying at...

 

March Meet has at least 32 N/FCs this year. The desert is abloom with wildflowers.

If you like wrecking yards..there are a couple of really cool ones with alot of good old stuff in them up in the Clearlake area. Happy Motoring, JOKER JASON.

 

Crater Lake is beautiful but a little out of the way if you are staying in San Diego (about 800 miles). Where are you staying? Do you have a wife or girlfriend so that you should also consider her interests (if so what are they).

I'm still planning my route. I want to hit venice beach for sure. You know, pump some iron! I hear San Fr. is cool for a day or so? Drive the coast. Any good car shows? Road side attractions?

I know I'm kind of vague on where I'll be, but that's why I'm asking?

Is the Powell Peralta skateboard museum out there? Or was that just a temp exhibit?

I don't know about So. Cal. but if you do go north to S.F the drive up the coast is awesome. Monterey is pretty cool and Santa Cruz has the amusement park and pier with a skateboard park right next to it.

 

Get more down with the dates and these guys can help ya more.
SO SO MUCH car related stuff to do and see....... if ur going to Venice the skatepark on the beach is a blast in the evenings, lots of cool people, Juice magazine is just behind it on the walk.
