Does anyone have any experiece with the wheel vintiques supreme wheel? I have heard the quality of the US wheel version is not very good so I was trying to decide between the wheel vintiques and allied brand.

I've had US Wheel supremes on my '56 Chevy for almost two years and they still look like new.

Not sure which manufactureer but only buy the ones with a gusset plate on the back of the spokes near the rim.

  6. Wheels Vintiques? They sent me some wheels that were not the size I ordered. Though they were not plated , or painted; they wouldn't take them back. I had to sell the wheels myself, and re-order because I needed the wheels fast. The ones I got had so much runout, as to be nearly unusable. I ended up selling those; and buying Daytons. If you MUST have Wheels Vintiques, go to a dealer to buy them; so that he can eat the **** that wheel maker can turn out!

YES! Those welded gusset wheels are the only really safe ones...

I've had problems with them myself on several occasions. I got 2 sets in a row that the offset was off and inch, then another that 3 of 5 wasn't true. I pitched a ***** until they took them back and made it right. I dont' buy them anymore. This old dog learned a new trick.....find other sources of wheels.

Check out the Cragar Unique Supreme. Looks the same & is a nice wheel. I've had 2 sets from Newstalgia Wheel co. & both were perfect.Price is good as well.

That's what I was wondering if, if the wheel vintiques had the welded gusset plate. I don't want a set that doesn't have a gusset.
