I dig where you're going, but as they have already said, that's a BIG bumper. Cool car though, orale homie!

Definiatly made some progress. I to am not 100% sure about the front bumper...is it finished or are you still working on the front? Do you have a straight on front view? Either way, good progress for sure.

What is that bumper from? I'm guessing late '50s Merc, but could be way off base. I kinda like it.

I like so I think it's a bit naughty but I like it, could make no changes would be minimal but I move away from the original idea I like.

Fat Bumper or not this probably one of the coolest cruisers in Jalisco so I gotta give you that. Maybe a rear bumper in the same style to give it more balance. Se mira muy pesado en frente que no?

Hey, you've put in so much work already, why not ditch BOTH bumpers, roll the pans, and put in a simple bar grille after frenching the headlight and taillight housings? Then keep on working the body and paint until you can paint it super glossy black.

If you can't picture where I'm heading with this, think of the Von Hunter/Ron Sweeney Ford from Oregon that was just restored. It was a Car Craft top 10 in 1964 I believe, and admittedly, has a chopped top and blue paint, but yours could be just as stunning.

Maybe someone on the HAMB has pictures they could post of this car or similar ones to give you ideas.

Great job on that car, lots of work from such a rough and incomplete starting point. Maybe if parts of the bumper were painted it would blend a little better, I don't think it is too bad. Love the spider web upholstery, it fits well and I haven't seen that done before.

I'm iffy on the front bumper but I can see it chromed with a proper matching rear bumper .

What did you rob the front disc brakes off of ?
