How does the wiper assembly mount in these cars??? I mean the wiper pieces that fit under the dash. Does anyone have pics of it mounted??? I just received the wiper transmission and arms and I'm going to add an electric wiper motor.
    Thanks....

The old vacuum wiper actuator mounts in the center inside of the cowl under the dash. I want to say the linkage is of equal lengths on both sides. It's been a long time since I looked. If you can't figure it out send me a private message and I'll try to help.

Wiper shafts at base of each wiper bolth through cowl and each has a lever on it. Vac motor bolts to a bracket in middle and has a 2-ended lever on it...a flat strip of steel goes from each wiper lever to a lever end on the motor. Can't remeber if the links are the same, probably not, but they will only reach and clear everything if they are on the proper sides. Not all the parts are identical on all cars...there is a common D-shaped trico motor and a slightly rare cylindrical motor by someone else (Anderson-Anco?) on some cars, probably links differ a bit.

So are you all saying that the complete assembly goes under the dash and attaches to the car using the chrome bezels on the outside of the car.

  8. the motor has a hanger and then the bezels outside hold it on also.
