UPDATE: The body is painted, the chrome is back from the platers, the frame is being painted "as we speak", the engine and trans are painted. It should all start coming back together tomorrow or Monday.
I haven't seen it myself, but I talked to one of the guys from the body shop today, and he says it's been sanded and buffed, and they will start on the graphics and lettering on Monday. Also, the frame is painted and they will start ***embling the suspension components on Monday too.

Yes, we're making it to L.A. A very big THANKS to the guys at Street Toys(www.streettoysmx.com) for staying late every day to make the deadline! Sorry, can't get my pics to upload!
We're trying to save as much of the original interior as possible. Haven't talked to the upholstery guy, so don't know about the carpet.
the carpet that's in their i put in about 4 years ago it had loop carpet but was real bad so i put new loop in it , originally it had loop . too bad u r so far away or i could have redone the upholstery , i did fix the bed cover that was the original , is it still o.k. ??
After talking to Michael, I was thinking it may be worth it for me to drag my Willys out there when I'm ready for paint work.
A couple more pics. We're hoping to pick it up Monday evening, load it on Tuesday, and hit the road Wednesday.
Awww Man! That is so cool! It is looking awesome. It's so perfect it almost looks like a scale model in the thumbnails. Then when you click on the pictures you see it's a full size car. I can't believe how fast they made all this come together.
