just introducing myself

Discussion in 'New to the H.A.M.B.? Introduce yourself here!' started by baronvonfrankenstine, Jan 20, 2010.

  1. My name is frank and I'm from Fremont California I grew up down the street from bay lands literally. Spent a lot of time there as a kid that's when I got bit by the bug. Built my first vw engine in my bedroom on my dresser when I was 12 it was kool but I grew out of that and into American cars in my later teens.
Me and my wife moved to the east coast about 5 years ago and love it the show's are great out here like the jalopy showdown and the jalopy drags. My daily driver is a 61 ford unibody with air ride I'm building my wife a 1963 ford falcon for a daily driver and our family car is gonna be a 53chevy chop top when it's done. Sorry if that's wordie.

Looks like you grew up ok soo far!!! Nice selection of rides. Hey, how do you like the snow/winters? Seems like guys who grow up in the snow move to the sun, and you grew up in the sun then moved to the snow. Have you adjusted to it by now? Welcome to the HAMB, make sure you post up progress reports on you projects.

  9. Welcome, looks like you got yourself some bad *** rides.

  10. Adjusting to the weather was fine for some reason my truck does better in the snow than in the rain. It's the cops I have trouble with I got pulled over three times my first month of being here for no tailgate one of them told me to run a piece of string across the back and they'd leave me alone. thank you guys for welcoming me

Welcome. Love the truck, I want one myself some day.

  13. Are you serious I don't see why not having a tailgate would be a problem unless you had **** in the back.
