    its too bad you are in texas, I would offer up a trade for a larger newer model of snappy. I started with a top box just like that, except it was a beat up red one. that looks great.

    Well I made a decision because of this thread. I am going to paint the fridge in my kitchen silver flake then have it pinstriped. Thanks guys:cool:

    I did the same thing to the one in my office. The microwave got it too. It is nice to see what others on this site are doing. Good luck and post some pics when it is done.

    it's not custom in this pic, but I have an appointment at the powdercoaters in a few weeks. I gotta prep it a bit first... the drawer fronts will stay the anodized red, but the case itself will be a suede finished charcoal grey. it will match the colors of my buell motorcycle I just finished.

    How many coats of clear did you use?

    4 coats at first and then sanded down and 2 more coats before cutting and polishing.

    Some awsome toolboxes and even fridges. Guess I gotta step it up a little.
