Next Saturday...... The Mooneyes Xmas party and carshow.....there will be a LOT of us s***bag artists there....for most of us, this is what we do for a living.....and this is one of the shows that from early on, supported the whole 'traditional' movement......This whole deal started by ED ROTH when it used to be called the RAT FINK REUNION.......we all miss BIG DADDY....... a lot of us are still trying to keep the torch lit.......so if you are anywhere near SoCal next Saturday, make it a point to at least stop by this show....... support an artist...... LOOK through their art, offer encouragement, get inspired, and if you have a couple extra bucks, buy something from them.....this is what keeps this thing moving.......I'd bet there are a lot of more original, less expensive Christmas gifts at this show than any local Mall.......You might call this post spam, cause I hope you might buy from me, but there is something a lot more important here as well......don't forget the artists who were a big part of the big picture..........I can't wait to get my annual xmas hug from Sara Ray and Coop's wife.........Who's gonna be there?......
Damm Im finally move back to So-Cal......and I will be be at the PRI show in in Indy. Maybe next year. Mike
I'll be there with pockets full of money! & i'll be the drunk guy slummin' in Sara Ray's booth. ask her about the band logo she just did...
Id like to announce that I once spent my 30 of my last 50 bucks buying art from McPhail 3000 miles from home with nothing but a plane ticket in my pocket!

I accidentally posted when Slag was logged in. Beleive me,his cash wad never plumeted any where near as low as that!
I'm going. I'll look for you Dennis... I want to catch up on one of those shoebox prints if you have them for sale still. I can't remember the name of the piece. Hopefully the weather holds out. Been crummy down here in the Temecula/North County area.
Here's some eye candy to chew on. just one of the wonderfull things that dennis is bringing to mooneyes.
I am going to try and make it out. Its about 8hour drive for me. If I show up look the surfaced rusted 32 5 window with 227 bullet holes in it.
Mcphail i'm still waiting to see if you sell some of your art on the hamb...Good luck hope you get that christmas loot.. This is one of those times you say "MAN, I WISH I LIVED IN CALI."
here's a piece from last year by mcphail i brought back to nor cal for a pal... always a good show, be there... and the pic does not do it justice... nic
I'll be there. I couldn't imagine making a living as a fine artist. Props to all of you, and to everyone else...buy yourself a little something if you make it to the show!!! I have always felt whenever I purchased a piece of art, not only did it make me happy, but it in some way gave them enough bread to make another piece. Then someone else, somewhere down the road could buy...be happy...and contribute to the process. See you soon Dennis.
Hi everybody, I will be there. It's just 12 hours from home (by plane)!!! I would like to bring some stuff to sell but knowing none here maybe next time. See you there.
Dennis, I am contributing, Michelle just bought you some Dr. Pepper. Have a safe trip bro, I'll see you tuesday night? love Jimmy White
Did someone say "shoebox prints"? I'm always looking for cool shoebox-related stuff. If you have any details, please lmk! And to all the artists out there in HAMB-land... definitely continue to post your stuff in the cl***ifieds. I have seem some really cool pieces I would have bought in a heartbeat, only to see that they were already scooped up. Matter of fact, I don't think ANY of the items last very long. I know that there is the h***le of shipping, and pieces like a car hood won't ship well at all. But I also know that for me, in Raleigh "where Barney comes to party" NC, the HAMB is just about the only way to get access to kustom artwork. I wish Dennis and all the artists going to Mooneyes a successful show. And the stuff you don't sell? Post it to the HAMB! -murph

I used to go when it was the R.F. reunion but haven't had a chance to go since then. I really want to check it out again one of these years, I bought a bunch of cool art and stuff last time I went.
Nic...........I'll pay anything NOT to see that!!!!! ....and I tried like a MoFo to get my brother to buy that decklit you brought back for James. I have regretted not buying it for myself ever since. Even though my bro did end up with a pretty sweet piece that Jeff painted. Live and learn...as it's all about me now!!!!!
