Nice looking hardtop. I agree with hotrod-Linkin though on the bumper.

I put the original rear bumper and a continental kit or rear bumper of a Mercury 58-59, I have to do tests.
the brakes I'm not sure where they come from, I sold them that would ensure the perfection and was so put them doing nothing more, were as if they were originals.

The car is too slick for the type of bumper you are trying to use. It just looks out of proportion. Good job on the rest of the car. But it's your ride and if you like it that's all that matters.

I love 57 Fords and it looks like you have done a load of hard work on it.Looks good except I am with the others on the bumper. Its a bit of too muchness. But its your car and should reflect your tastes.I think you should look into the rolled pans idea, that would be perfect.Like the seats, too.

Maybe if the '56 Merc bumper were recessed back a few inches ,not protruding any further than stock grill was. Don't like it the way it is.

    Go to Rikster's website:

    http://whatsnew.fotki.com/rikster/page55.html

click on the picture of the Sweeney Ford to view the album

or the direct address is considerably longer:

    http://public.fotki.com/rikster/11_car_photos/customcars_i_like_ford_custom_
    cars/50s-60s-built-1957-/ron-sweeneys-57-for/pa060224.html

If you like custom cars, after you view the Sweeney Ford, be prepared to spend hours looking at the other cars on this site.
