It's been a while since I posted anything here for the art show, so I'm due. My submission this week was motivated by a self portrait competition held by artistswanted.org. I started this when I found out about the competition 10 days before deadline (last night), so it was a challenge to get a 22x28 oil done.

I think that this piece is appropriate for the HAMB, as it expresses who I am and what I love, which is evident by my T-shirt (which I've had since I was six and grew into it). If you're interested, my portfolio for the contest is at artistswanted.or/jonbradstreet.

I currently have 15 paintings going in various stages now, so hopefully I'll have some more work to show come Spring. Nice looking show so far guys! Good work!

Gary this is incredible. I would love to have a poster of the story and photo. Incredible work.

There is just some much talent on here. If any of you illustrators have ever done a 55 Victoria I would love to see it. It seems that I cannot find any 55's anywhere. Keep up the great work.

Great work as always Clysdale! Cool to see you got to do the 500 Miles To Memphis album cover. I heard they had a new one coming out. They kick ass. Now they have a kick ass new album cover too.
