My grandfather was a member of a car club called the Jinx while he was in high school in the early fifties (with Tommy Ivo) in Burbank. He drove a Merc that was modified by valley customs and it had an eddie meyer built flathead. He sold the car in the mid fifties to a guy who worked in china town in downtown Los Angeles. When he got divorced the wife tossed his plaque and all photos of the car. I have set out to try to find the car as well as a picture of the plaque, so I can have one recreated...I cant find any contact info for Ivo (to see if he has any recollection of either the plaque or my grandads car)....I've noticed that the HAMB community can find info on almost any car so maybe there is someone who can help me or maybe has pictures of the car...It was a 49 to 51 merc 2 door un-chopped but it had all corners rounded (doors, hood.trunk) I will post any other info he may remember as I get it... Thanks for any help

Grandpa was going through some old pics today and came across these two grainy pictures. I'm still on the hunt for the plaque, I haven't given up hope yet..... Posted from the TJJ App for iPhone & iPad
