This past week we got the car back on the ground and running. The car should be on the road this week. Sorry I have been so slow with the post, between school, work, and this car I'm beyond busy. Thank you Russ for pinstripping. Enjoy the pics! Hope everyone has a great week.
The workmanship is excellent from what I've seen and I love seeing people working on the old wagons like yours. Lotta cl*** and it will be a lot of fun to drive. Keep posting progress pics.
Great looking car and it looks like you are doing some nice things with it. I've never been a fan of black engines though, they always look dirty to me. Or maybe they just look "too new" in the 56.
Thanks guys. Sorry Mr. Chevy, I like my black motor. I don't like the look of an orange motor with a green firewall...it reminds me of baby food. My car my ideas Thanks for the feedback but keep it positive.
You are going to be so proud of your ride when you get to cruising it around town. And you can say"I did it". Excellent.
Laurel Green and Crocus Yellow, commonly known as "mustard and custard" back in the day. Great color choice, I like it!
I love the car, love the engine colors and scheme, but I think that statement above needs work. Criticism both bad and good are what help people grow............Never before in my life have I received nothing BUT positive feedback. Utopia's do not exist and we ALL take people's opinions both good and bad, in stride. Besides, he wasn't being negative about YOUR CAR, but merely stating his thoughts.
If those are the stock colors,(and they look real close) GM called the upper color Crocus Yellow. The lower body is Laurel Green.I have the color codes, if you want them send me a PM.
The valve covers look good on there. Who is that ***y pinstriper......Oh, wait, thats me.......never mind.
