Strange Holes

Anyone know what these 4 holes are for? On the back of a 40 Ford pickup cab.

 

Holes are for a bracket that goes on the inside for seat adjustment, basically a hinge with a wood board that flips forward or backwards.

 

Same thing on my 46 cab. My 40 cab did not have them. I can take a photo if you need one. Let us see more photos of your project.

 

A picture would be great. I'll get out & take a few pics this week.
