'62 Catalina g***er (#2) and garage sale find '33 willys tube frame g***er. Pontiac has a blown 421 and willy gets a Nailhead.

Some killer stuff guys! Is that rail ch***is scratchbuilt or is out of a current kit? That needs to go on my shelf of stuff to build!

I started a Thunderbolt a few years ago but just couldn't seem to find the time to get it finished so it got shelved. This thread and the Thunderbolt thread on here are just what I needed to get motivated again. Here's what I've got so far:

A little bit of both. The main part around the ****pit is from the newly re-issued Tommy Ivo dragster kit. Everything from the engine forward is scratch built from Evergreen styrene rod.

The Chevy powered car is shortened to 152" wheelbase. (The stock kit is 189"). The frame with the 426 Hemi is 204".

Here's that frame with a different engine:

    Nice work on the Thunderbolt!

Well i finished my '65 chevelle AWB, and started on my corvette stingray-nosed studebaker. Look in the Model Group page soon for a complete step by step on how i altered the wheelbase on the chevy.
