Hey guys I have been beggin for a little Photoshop help here on the HAMB and got it in spades-thanks SD, you rock. But I would like an opinion or two of which way to go. Please let me know what you think, smart ***ed folks need not apply!!! The base of the car will be a daytona type of blue, and the top will be pure white with abalone pearl mixed in just for fun, just wondering-stripes or not?? As always thanks for the help!! Oh yeah skirts or no???

I'd say skirts but no scallops; it's too busy with them. FWIW, I'd ditch the rocker chrome too unless you're going for old school bomber. You need to think about what 'look' you're going after and keep it consistant. Looks good so far!

Chrome is already on the car, and honestly I like it where it is, I feel like its a complete package with the visor and the skirts...and the working lakes pipes sure dont hurt anything except maybe my ears after 1/2 an hour of driving!!

I like the second one, with or without skirts. The worst thing on the first one is the scallop in front of the rear quarter, best scallop is the one on the year quarter.

  8. Stance & skirts like pic #1, but no stripes...

I like the second picture a bit better. The stock chrome pieces are enough against the dark blue. Either way, you will have a sweet ride

I like the watson look! I think it would realy set it apart from the rest of the pack:cool: I think that the more people tell you not to do the scallops, the more reasons you have to do the scallops. Stand out bro!

Watson style all the way! It will get lost at shows/cruises. Ditch the lakes though. I really like the scallops though!!!

Second pic with skirts. Nice and clean.
Too many stripes might take away from the top.

Off the top of my wine-addled head, the first version would certainly benefit with the rear fender scallop in a thickness (width) more consistent with the rest of the job.

The bottom of this scallop should also extend rearward on a level with the front fender (lower) scallop.

I would also extend the front scallop rearward (to mid-door) from where it now turns down.

    I'm thinking #2 , but without the pipes .

  19. Id go #1 but keep the scalops going in the same direction to the rear.. Other then that looks killer.. Ever think of a chop tho?

First pic, leave out the "scoop", just use the scallops on the front and rear fenders.

i like it either way, but if you do scallops, thin out the ones on the quarter, they look to thick and dont match the rest of the scallops. otherwise, you got a great looking car!!

Paint the top and body. Live with it for a few months and then decide. Sooner or later you will know what YOU want.
