OK, so I finally installed the mustang tank and ford gauge (the correct 70-10 Ohm). The issue i have is that the needle moves around quickly . But it only moves 1/4-1/8 of an inch or so.. It will do this while on the road and with just the ignition on. Do i need to ground the tank? do i need an IVR? otherwisw it seems to show the correct level of gas. Has anyone else had this same issue?

    thanks!

I had that trouble on my 37 chev coupe until i ran a ground wire from the tank to the frame.

I was going to give you the same suggestion. A ground wire should solve the problem
