This may be the nicest Roadster I have ever seen... I am sure that there is plenty of info on this car. Please direct me towards it. I stole this picture from Joe Grippo on Flikr... sorry Joe.
Tony La Masa's '32 Ford Roadster - Built in the early 1950s, this car appeared in the 1950s sitcom "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet." Ozzie and Harriet’s two sons, hot rod enthusiasts David and Ricky Nelson (singer, songwriter), drove the car on the show.
Ray DeFillipi originally built the '32 and was featured in the April '52 Hop-Up. Tony LaMasa Rebuilt it in the late 50s and was Featured in August '60 HRM. The roadster was featured again in May 1998 R&C after Don Orosco had it restored.
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, The ricky nelson car (I always called it). One of my favorites, was able to see her in person a few years ago at the GNRS. Love the car! Thanks for the pics - espeically the under carriage.
yes... Joe~ Thank you sooo much for those pictures man. Ever since I saw your picture the other day, I have been thinking about this car. I am pretty sure, that this is at the top of my short list of Favorites.
This is an old post....but....to bring it back....does anyone know the exact green color on this car.
Always has been a favorite of mine, too. Near as I know it is currently owned by Mr Ross Myers and is in his Three Dog Garage collection near Boyertown Pa. An awesome car!
This threads almost 5 years old and this is the first time I've seen it!!! This car is beyond nice and cool etc. Fit, finish, vision and all that other stuff you can say about it doesn't seem to be enough. I'm sure I have an old mag with it featured.
