HEY, guys!! I'm intruducing myself here, but I don't remember if I did this before, so here I am! My name is Lucas, but some people use to call me "Momio". I play jazz and blues on the piano (I'm a big fan of Oscar Peterson and the classic and hot swing), but I use to play some rockabilly with a borrowed electric bass too!. About hot rodding (what really matters!), I'm earning very slowly my pennies for build a classic hiboy with flathead and red steelies, if I can. If not, I'll try to get a VW and take the volksrod way, obviously, with red steelies! Here, some pics of the biggest kind of hot rod I can afford at the moment, the model kits. I hope you like my scale works, and I hope to learn a lot here! Cheers, El Momio
Thanks!! I checked out your pics and I loved your cars!! I have a friend who loves C-10, and I'm sure he'll love yours too!! Saludos, El Momio
Welcome from Nebraska. Many start with models. Soon it will be time to get into the larger ones. You obviously have the "bug" (Volksrod!!).
Thanks!! I'm a "Flathead Guy" too, and I really would like to build a hiboy like yours, but here in Argentina flatheads are still very expensive. I know the bug is cheaper, and I like it too, but my greatest desire is a flattie, I guess you know what I mean... I checked out your pics both cars are beautiful, the 39 is like I would build it!! Saludos, El Momio
Welcome El Momio from Apple Valley California. Model cars are cool. I collect old kits from the 50s and 60s and they are as big a part of my life as the real thing. Mike
Thanks!! Congrats for your collection! Here in Argentina the oldest model kits you can find are from the 90s. I found an AMT T-bird in 1/43, from 1969 I guess, but it's very rare. You have a beautiful truck! I still can see some of that F-100s here, but only a few with a V8 under the hood!! Saludos, El Momio
