Customs New "Kustoms Illustrated" #24

Yesterday was one of those Mondays. AGGGGGHHHHHH!! Mondays ****! When I
got the mail my day turned around because the new "Kustoms Illustrated" was
waiting on me. Very koool issue and probably the best one yet because Luke
blessed me with a picture of my Merc. Very Kool!! My Merc doesn't look to bad
in print.

Love the patina cover with the tape marks, my wife thinks that I'm weird looking
at all of the detail with both covers Great job Luke and Thanks again for giving
us Kustom guys something to look through....

Luke puts in a lot of work you can tell its just not thrown together.
Great stories and all KI Subscribers get a kool post card with every

Well if I don't spend all my spending scratch in Cali this weekend I am getting a Sub plus the back 19!!!

 

Mine came in the mail yesterday and I got to check it out last night. The look on the cover takes a bit of getting used to and I hope my wife doesn't pitch it in the "old magazine" box because of the aged look to it.
Better order quick though as Luke sells his subscriptions by the Calender year and if you order late you still get the issues for that year and not the following four issues. Not a bad thing as I now have all of the past four issues but something some guy may want to know ahead of time. Speaking of that I need to send in my payment for the next year.

 

Hey Mick I saw the pic of your car did you see that big ugly ****er in the back ground next to the hot red head and the cool ol dude behind the burgandy merc....???

Yes I saw your mug behind the Merc, I was having a bad hair weekend.I was hoping
that readers thought that it was me. Ha, ha, ha!! Lot of HAMBers in the picture,
Twotall Okie's bad *** Monte Carlo is right behind my Merc and GoMad aka Jimmy
Spears '58 Chevy wagon. I'm proud of Travis getting his car in another magazine.

I have gotten Kustom Illustrated since day one, Luke does a great job and to all the old kustom people and new , nice size, photos, etc. keep up the good work. I liked Bob Kessig article on the X-cel, I go back to day one when the car
was brand new, owned by Dave Puhl and then **** Scully, I have all the photos of it and construction of it. Heres one attached the last time we seen it in La Salle, Illinois at Volpes Station, Custom Wax had it and wanted to sell it. Boy what oversight that was ? Dave is up customizing chariet and scully it out in California building in the Mojave Desert"

The mail must be slow here this month.Usually I have my copy well before the first mention of it on the HAMB.Off to the Post Office this morning to see if it has arrived.

 

I just got mine in the mail tonight. Only flipped through it and it looks like an awesome issue, but I'm ready to hit the thrown with it soon!

I see there's another great telstar update...awesome!

We have a couple of inches of snow and icy roads. I've spent the weekend in the shop plugging away on the furniture for the new office. The two couches went to paint this week. Got quite a few looks with a 59 Caddy couch on the trailer. LOL.

You guys get a bunch of weather over there?
