As I keep telling you guys, you are very lucky in the US, you would be lucky to get that car for 15K Australian dollars down under, that's about 12k in US dollars. Enjoy.

i think its your car and you got a great deal on it..im a newbie here..its only my 25yr building cars and expecially bikes, have had and built many of both..always confused why people want to put things into a cool or not cool catagory...so many times we,ve done something totally out of left field on our bikes and what do ya know a yr later theres some guy doing the same thing then its cool...thats why ive been at so many events (bikes expecially) and pulled up right next to the "show" parked my **** and walked away...only to draw the crowd of trailer queens and plastic **** away from the "contest"..... i do and build what i want...you got a cool car do with it what you want.dont let it sit half cut up in some garage for yrs when you should be driving it...good luck

I´d say You made out real nice, it´s sweet. "Doors" or not, don´t change a thing. Don´t forget to take it out on the road on a clear, nice day. Bet You´ll be the only one in town driving one:)

Wicked score! My best friend is a Buick maniac, and due to kids (one special needs) and life's other responsibilities, he's been outta the game for about 13 years. He used to race his Skylarks and has some racing engine that he had some cat from Superior, who now is a NASCAR team owner (don't ask me, I can't remember the name), build for him in the early 90's stored away, but no Buick to put it in.

He sure as hell wouldn't complain about having a 4dr! GREAT score, and don't buy the negativity.

Name yer ride "The Kaukauna Anchor" :)

The ***le of this thread isn't 'Hey everybody look at this Hot Rod I got for 2k' so I don't think it's necessary to piss on his parade just to put the guy right on a claim he never made.
There is more to the HAMB than JUST hot rods.Maybe you need to read Ryans post again before you try flaming me.I get it just fine thanks.
    Happy new year

Cool ride! I must say I'm totally baised though..............

Check out your 2 door twin............

Same colors even! I picked this up at the HAMB Drags this last summer for $1700. It doesn't run and needs alot of work. Your looks quite a bit nicer!

I found a yard in the sticks here in Colorado that has 4 '60s. Let me know if I can help.

that looks like a sweet ol ride. bet it rides just like my old 62 Caddy FOUR DOOR.

all these negative guys don't know what they are missing. 20 feet long, 5000 lbs. big V8. sounds like fun to me.

I think all of us "prefer" two doors, but that is a sweet deal. It needs wheels, lowered, and drove every day till its worn out. Rebuild it and do it all again!

The 60 Buick lends itself to all kinds of possibilities, why not even a hot rod? IMO the drive train lends itself more toward a boulevard cruiser, but I've added gl*** packs and twin pipes to mine for a pseudo hot rot look (and sound), but still drive it low and slow.. ..
