I started the body mounts by welded threaded sleeves into the frame. Next I used 3/4 x 1-1/2 rect tube to start the floor structure. Heres a pic.
I dropped the body back over the frame and attached it to floor structure and forgot to take a pic of that. But I started fitting the 35 Ford dash so I could install my column and figure out my pedals. It was a pain to get it to fit the model A window opening the way I wanted, but I'm really happy with the results. I also used the column and drop from a 35 as well as the mechanical brake pedal ***y. The steering box is a F-1. I modified the flange to fit inside the rail and I shortened the housing where the sector shaft goes through. I made the front part of my x-member to also act as the pedal ***y mount. I had to shorten and bend the pedals a few times, but they work great now. Last thing I did was bend the shift lever to clear the dash. I still need to finish off a few of these things and I'll snap some more detailed pics when I pull them apart. Deek
That looks so good. What year wheels are those? And what model Firestones are those and what size? Looks good man keep up the good work!

I will for sure have to come check it out. I shot you an email about doing a 33/34 Ford frame for my Plymouth build. Thanks for the quick reply, you guys got a good setup over there. -Josh
Awesome build mate, looks unreal. Can you get a picture of the inside of the rail where your pedals are mounted? I saw some bolt heads on the outside of the rail, so i'm ***uming you've got a flange bolted there. Looks like a good design and very simple way to mount the pedals, which is something i've been scratching my head over for a while now. Cheers mate, Nick.
