That thing has been on ebay a bunch of times. to much money for what it is.

  3. Hard to tell but looks like a sport coupe with no doors and the cowl posts cut off? I guess the way to look at it is price the quarters and other parts, but with no body at all (except the cowl) there's a good $1500 there alone. Going to presume since it's in ND there's not going to be a lot of rot, although obviously someone painted it not too long ago. $3500 might not be too far off. The pickup I sold for that kind of money wasn't much better.

Looks like a '51 Merc 4dr in the background with the top cut off - guy probably knows what he has.

Yeah well, he originally wanted 15000 when I stopped in and I laughed and left, lol. That was three years ago. So maybe in another 3 years it will be the right price, lol.

Piece of sheet metal. Looked at that thing on ebay a while back, it's a pile.

I was not sure on what some of the salvageable part were worth.

  10. I'm looking at it and from what I see it needs one of everything. A project is worth a grand, fifteen hundered at best.

But it is a good starting place for someone that has some idea what to do with one.

When I look at these I try to break it down into parts. What do you have $1000.00 for a running motor? I was offered that for the one in my 50 Ford. $75 Grill Shell. $200 frame. $100.00 rear end, my buddy bought three in a lot on ebay for $200. Front axle $200? Leaves about $2000 for buying the body parts and rims, seams a little expensive to me. Got to agree with fiftyv8.
