There HAS to be a place there can repair or replace it.
I dont have a generator but I reccomend Irma's restaraunt. 123 S. Silver. Its worth the drive from Tucson.

Just to clarify, you need a rebuild to make it charge again, or you need a core due to some mechanical damage?

Don't know anything about them - got this off the web, but you might try them.

Harris Auto Electric - Deming - Phone 575-546-8169

Looks like they're just off I-10

    Good Luck!

Just called Normspeed in Deming and he's going to give you a call.

Grandadeo just phoned to alert me about the problem and I left a voicemail for Jason. I live in Deming. Harris auto electric is definitely the way to go. Oldest generator shop in the area and owned by a great car guy. I have a couple other possibilities if Harris doesn't work out. If Jason needs transportation I can cart him around in my (cough cough) 53 Plymouth.

Jason, you picked one of the worst days of this year to hit Deming. Cold and rainy, and rainy. Gimme a call.

I just heard back from Normspeed and he found Jason & Company just as they were pulling out of Deming, west bound and down. Sounds like a happy ending.
