i haven't posted anthing in quite a long time but i'm home today and some people wanted to see more pics so i finally am going to do it. i got the car from my cousin andy at suicide axle hot rods, summer 2008. it was a good car had some roof rot and some other minor rust but it was all there. i drug it home and got the brakes working, and half ass running. i started taking it apart november or december 2008, hitting it hard to get it done for my buddy andy's wedding at the end of may. Andy is also the man that helped me do the car and is the painter. i replaced some floor pieces, and above the drip rails on the whole roof. took off some trim. new rebuild 352 went in. this winter i am doing the interior, rebuilding the front suspension and disk brake conversion. the paint: the white is 2009 ford cdge pearl white. the red is candy brandy wine over a silver base with 3 diffrent size small flake. the painting ogf the wagon took place over a weekend, it started friday afternoon and ended monday morning about 6 in the morning. we got probably 6 hours of sleep all weekend but it was worth it.check out the pics

Awesome! Larry Watson would be proud!

I love the pattern on those interior panels.

  20. That car looks great! I bought my 64 Galaxie not running and after sitting at least 9 years in storage 2 months before my wedding. We got it road worthy with all new brakes, draglink, exhaust, carpet, tires, serviced the trans, changed all the fluids, etc etc and it made it the 200miles it needed to go to the church then to the reception hall...JUST! A rear axle bearing piled up but it made it to its parking spot! It was neat to have it part of the wedding like yours was! Congrats to Andy.
